I echo what brother Kyle posted below. We are living in a time of judgement and it will either lead to renewal or exile. We must choose this day who to worship. Joshua 24:15 "But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD." I simply want to be part of the faithful remnant.
I've spent the past year living in the Book of Psalms and am amazed at God's grace, mercy, and justice. And the fact that much, if not all of the Psalms were compiled during exile as "meditation literature" to remind them of Yahweh's love for them continues to amaze me.
I've said it often, and it continues to wring true. We are not going to see judgment, we are currently living in it. Does that mean things cannot be changed or turned around? No! We can take comfort in the words from 2 Chronicles 7.
2 Chronicles 7:12-18 NASB2020
[12] Then the Lord appeared to Solomon at night and said to him, “I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for Myself as a house of sacrifice. [13] If I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send a plague among My people, [14] and My people who are called by My name humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. [15] Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayer offered in this place. [16] For now I have chosen and consecrated this house so that My name may be there forever, and My eyes and My heart will be there always. [17] As for you, if you walk before Me as your father David walked, to do according to everything that I have commanded you, and keep My statutes and My ordinances, [18] then I will establish your royal throne as I covenanted with your father David, saying, ‘You shall not lack a man to be ruler in Israel.’

Just as He has done in the past, He can and will redeem His own if we do our part and "SEEK HIS FACE."
A remnant is always preserved, even in judgment.
