I've tried to imagine Democrats letting it go, but I can't. For the past 40 years I've observed, they kept pushing the edge, then went over without any concern whatsoever. Going backward at this point would be "going backward" - which they deem traitorous to "the cause", whatever that is. "Insane" is where they are, "less insane" is still insane, but alienates their base.

Yeah, I think it's obvious where Democrats have to go next. They spent decades building their "base" out of the most radical people they could find, and those people absolutely believe "by any means necessary" is the way to eliminate "structural" flaws in the American system.

Nope. They hold too tightly, and they’re losing control. You can’t cure insane with more insane.

Excellent, as usual. Thank you.

The Progressives of the early 1900's are not the Progressives of the 1960's which are not the Progressives of the 2000's. Although they have evolved and morphed, one thing holds true; they are statists at their core and Marxists in their ideology, whether that be social, economic, or any other variant. The collective over the individual is always the path. And the more they can divide society, the easier it becomes to stamp out individualism. They may not learn the lesson soon, but if we are not careful, they will slowly and surely infect society as they have done for the past 100 years with their Communist ideology.
