Well, Why DID so Many Doctors Become Nazis?
Read what a Nazi doctor said about state-ordered euthanasia. Then compare that to your own beliefs.
Search for “why did so many doctors become Nazis” and you find an article of the same title and a Nazi doctor who offered this “worryingly persuasive defense” of state-ordered euthanasia:
“The human beings who cannot help themselves and whose tests show a life of suffering are to be given aid. This consideration is not inhuman. I never felt that it was not ethical or was not moral. But one thing seems necessary to me — that if anybody wants to judge the question of euthanasia he must go into an insane asylum and he should stay there with the sick people for a few days. Then we can ask him two questions: the first would be whether he himself would like to live like that, and the second, whether he would ask one of his relatives to live that way — perhaps his child or his parents.”
If you find yourself agreeing with that defense, you might be a Nazi.
If the fact that German doctors were “seven times more likely to join the SS than other employed German males” makes you wonder if doctors are uniquely susceptible to government power and propaganda, just look back the COVID pandemic and ask yourself the same question.
We know that Joe Biden’s claim of a “pandemic of the unvaccinated” was, in fact, a big lie, because the “vaccine” does not prevent COVID infection and does not stop the “vaccinated” from transmitting the virus to others. But far too many doctors and nurses across America parroted that lie and called for “vaccine deniers” to be punished by the government or their private employers.
Why did these people — many of whom say “science is real” — beseech the government to weaponize itself against private citizens, illegally censor the truth, and fire people from their jobs?
In 2020, public health workers who said they were “following the science” embarked on a social media campaign to shame people into locking themselves in their homes. Photos and videos of these loyal workers went viral, declaring, “I stayed at work for you, you stay at home for us.” Then, as massive Black Lives Matter protests kicked off nationwide, these same “public health advocates” declared “we do not condemn these gatherings as risky for COVID-19 transmission; we support them as vital to the national public health.”
If you want to know if these “scientists” are uniquely susceptible to government power and propaganda, just ask yourself how many of them have a “We Believe” sign in their front yard; a sign with a subliminal message very different from what the words say.
Also in 2020, the head of the Wisconsin Alliance for Women’s Health said that the ubiquitous sign — “Black Lives Matter, Women’s Rights are Human Rights, No Human is Illegal, Science is Real, Love is Love, Kindness is Everything, Diversity Makes Us Stronger” — is “the heart of the progressive movement.” And the author who described the sign’s history wrote that it is “a litmus test, in effect, for the entire political left.”
Beginning in the 1930s, Germans were required to take a different “litmus test” and half of their doctors failed it. German physicians, notes the Tablet article, “were held in such high esteem, and thought to be of such high moral character, that [medical] experimentation was justified in that it benefited society.”
“Medicine then, as now, is not somehow immune from this abuse, as the horrific postwar abuses at Tuskegee and elsewhere make clear.” — Ashley K. Fernandes, “Why Did So Many Doctors Become Nazis?”
When you search for “medical assistance in dying” (MAID) you find Canada's Supreme Court decision in Carter v. Canada, which held that the Canadian Criminal Code “unjustifiably” infringes on the Charter of Rights, and prohibitions against MAID “are of no force or effect to the extent that they prohibit physician-assisted death for a competent adult person who (1) clearly consents to the termination of life and (2) has a grievous and irremediable medical condition (including an illness, disease or disability) that causes enduring suffering that is intolerable to the individual in the circumstances of his or her condition.”
When you look up “irremediable,” you find that it means “untreatable,” so you do some more reading and discover that Canadian law “no longer requires a person’s natural death to be reasonably foreseeable as an eligibility criterion” for state-assisted suicide.
So you wonder — like that Nazi doctor did — if you would allow your mentally ill child to “live that way” and you find that Canada has already killed over 10,000 Canadians (or 3.3% of all deaths in Canada) and is “wrestling” with extending the euthanasia law “for the mentally ill.”
Canada is well down the slippery slope. One doctor (who has carried out hundreds of killings herself) now says “I don’t think death should be society’s solution for its own failures.”
And despite (or, more likely, because of) the Government of Canada’s committment to “ensuring our laws ... protect those who may be vulnerable,” some government officials are attempting to enlist citizens in the suicide program because of “hearing loss” or because they “asked for a wheelchair ramp to be installed” at their home.
The parallels between German and Canadian euthanasia programs are worrying enough, but the slope is even more slippery than that. In America, it is beyond dispute that doctors, by and large, are already using “science” to “affirm” the “authentic gender” of patients who are too young to know better. When you strip away the state-sanctioned doublespeak, it is clear that American doctors are experimenting on children, not in search of the “racial purity” of the Nazis but the “gender purity” of the new American fascists.
On Feb. 9, 2023, a self-described “queer woman” who is “politically to the left of Bernie Sanders” and “married to a transman” became a whistleblower in a courageous article titled “I Thought I Was Saving Trans Kids. Now I’m Blowing the Whistle.” I have nothing to add, except that Jamie Reed can expect the full weight of the trans community to descend on her, her trans husband, and her children.
On Feb. 2, 2023, the Government of Canada postponed for one year (until March 17, 2024) the plan to allow mentally ill persons to “choose” euthanasia. This delay will give the Government of Canada “additional time to prepare for the safe and consistent assessment and provision” of its euthanasia program.
I remain unimpressed. After all, our modern physicians who are killing Canadians and mutilating Americans believe, just as firmly as did the Nazis, that they are practicing “good science.”
