We Have Always Been at War on the Border

We have never been at war on the border.

In 2019, candidate-for-president Joe Biden told debate moderator Jorge Ramos, “I would in fact make sure that there is, that we immediately surge to the border — all those people are seeking asylum. They deserve to be heard. That's who we are. We’re a nation that says, ‘If you want to flee and you’re fleeing oppression, you should come.’”

It’s 2022 now, and the Biden Administration says there’s another immigration surge just waiting to happen once the COVID emergency ends and the government can’t use Title 42 to blunt the surge.

To prepare for the war, Joe Biden — who colluded with Ukraine to influence the 2016 election before going “toe to toe” with Putin in 2020 before Putin invaded Ukraine in 2022 — is building a southwest border “war room” because Democrats “fear” human trafficking networks throughout Mexico and Central America will exploit the situation to “generate a mass migration event.”

The situation is so bad that DHS Deputy Secretary John Tien asked for more members of the “DHS Volunteer Force.” Employees who do volunteer must sign, under oath, a “DHS Prison Rape Elimination Action Form.”

Biden even has a “whole-of-government plan” called the “Southwest Border Mass Irregular Migration Contingency Plan.”

White House spokesman Vedant Patel said of the SBMIMCP, “Of course the Administration is doing our due diligence to prepare for potential changes at the border. That is good government in action ... this Administration is working every day to provide relief to immigrants, restore order, fairness, and humanity to our immigration system and bring it into the 21st century.”

That’s the same Vedant Patel, who said, when Biden announced his promotion in 2020, “In times of crisis, clear communication can save lives and keep families safe.”
