Trigger Warning: Go Calumniate Yourself

The ungrateful wretches of academia have everything, all of it paid for by the public they defecate on. Yet they show no gratitude.

Can I speak freely, or do you need a Trigger Warning? Ivy League professors and all their dear colleagues can go sodomize each other in Palestine.

In yesterday’s Chronicle of Higher Education, a group of law professors talked about: 1) President Trump’s threat to eliminate $400-million in federal funding for Columbia; and 2) the university’s surrender on the definition of antisemitism and new disciplinary procedures for student misconduct, among other things.

Any leftwing university that complains about those things should be defunded immediately. At least until the liars, thieves, and shape-shifting werewolves prove that they value the whole Bill of Rights, not just the First Amendment.

Prove it how? Well, they could start by canceling all courses taught by Marxists who use “free speech” as a weapon against the first country to ever imagine free speech was a human right.

Don’t fire the asses. Just pay them to do nothing. If they refuse the terms of employment, use progressive discipline and fire them for cause. The rest of us should consider them insane criminals.

“It is remarkable how quickly the chill has descended,” said Genevieve Lakier, Professor of Law at the University of Chicago, gladbooking the academic Left’s free speech slaughterhouse. “I’ve been reading all the free-speech policies at different schools. There’s lovely language in the policies about how universities are sites of dissent and how protest is ... integral to the life of the university because we are a community of dissent...”

In all sincerity, go calumniate yourself. What’s truly remarkable is just how quickly anti-free speech professors pivoted to “whatabout free speech!” after they deconstructed the American university system and replaced it with a racist, Marxist, anti-democratic, antisemitic, black-power structure that celebrates the worst kinds of perverted grievance grifters.

One of my stepchildren graduated from Evergreen State College in 2015, and I was there in person when Kshama Sawant stoked the racial, cultural, and economic hate that subsidized the violent 2017 campus takeover. That was the year students (and some staff) held administrators hostage, roamed the campus armed with clubs, and threatened to physically assault professors (you won’t believe what the punishment was).

My daughter went to Chico State during the Obama years, and I visited the free speech zone — officially named “restrictions on exercise of the right of expression to preserve the safe and orderly operation of the campus.” When she came home, she believed white women could be black, Miami would be under water in 10 years, and the campus was a “rape culture.”

I wrote protest letters when Barack Obama’s “dear colleague” instructions destroyed due process on college campuses. Which only proved that Marxists are right about one thing: writing protest letters to Marxists achieves nothing. It is deeply disgraceful that the legal academics who demand due process today so glibly denied it a decade ago.

Today, after two decades of demonizing every dissent they don’t like — the denial of climate change and structural racism, to name just two — Ivy League professors once again say “dissent is the highest form of patriotism!” Surprise!

Now our campus elites want the freedom to dissent outside free speech zones. Now that their universities have ended “rape culture,” they promote a foreign terrorist organization that uses rape as a weapon. Now that the Ivory Tower has thoroughly discredited the concept of student self-discipline, its elites have the audacity to say, without shame, “It feels like we are saying goodbye to this beautiful democratic vision of the university, and now thinking of the university as a place where order must be maintained.”

As one Evergreen student told the captive administrators, “This is what you taught us to do.” Tell me, oh Ivory Tower: if those students obeyed your instruction, why are they such worthless, poisonous, bullies?

Here’s the truth about our public academic elites.

You are such accursed, ungrateful wretches that you have trained generations of students to destroy the “democracy” you demand. You have everything, all of it paid for by the public you defecate on; yet you show not a particle of gratitude. Instead, you let this republic and its founding principles go to ruin; you even help to destroy it.

Should the people not be angry? Should not blind, fierce, and savage tyrants come to power? Should not war and contention arise? Should not foreign agents appear inside our borders and take the opportunity to plunder us?

Indeed, would it not be surprising if the Yellowstone Caldera obeyed your soothsaying and showered us with hell-fire like America was some 21st century Sodom and Gomorrah?
