This is truly Soviet-level propaganda. Just when you think you've seen the apex of anti-historical lunacy, Leftists publish this convulsion of "righteous fury" by a plague doctor who would bleed voters to "break" the "vicious cycle" of the peaceful transfer of American government power.

Remember that "make-believe" crisis at the southern border? Yeah. The "official" number of 5 million illegal immigrants in 4 years (published this month by the NYT, but actually much higher) wasn't a "real" crisis.

No. Forget that events finally forced the Times to address the historic catastrophe of Joe Biden's immigration plan. According to John Stoehr — a "fellow at the Yale Journalism Initiative" — illegal immigration is a fake "crisis" staged just so Republicans could trigger the real crisis called "the COVID pandemic." Yeah. He really wrote that.

Similarly, says Stoehr, COVID wasn't released by a Chinese biolab in China funded by Dr. Fauci. It wasn't even an accident that happened in a Chinese wet market. No, COVID was triggered by Republicans so they could grab power.

And inflation wasn't triggered when Joe Biden injected trillions of make-believe dollars into the decimated COVID economy. Donald Trump didn't even make Joe Biden do that. No, "Donald Trump did it."

And finally, Democrats do not collude with the press to bamboozle voters with generational lies. The media is assuredly not populated by former Clinton/Obama officials like George Stephanopoulos and Jen Psaki. No, Democrats merely "hope" that an "amoral Washington press corps" will "communicate, accurately and in good faith, all the harms done by the Republicans."

By any objective analysis, modern Disinformation is akin to the Black Plague, and calling people like John Stoehr "plague doctors" gives them too much credit.

After all, according to the Centers for Disease Control, "the Black Death is widely believed to have reached Europe from the Crimea as the result of a biological warfare attack" on the city of Caffa in 1346.

In this analogy, our plague of official government disinformation is not accidentally worsened by concerned professionals who want to cure the plague. Instead, a militant force of media professionals and government officials is catapulting infected bodies over the walls of the Republic in the hope of causing a plague.

If Democrats do what Stoehr suggests, there is a 50/50 chance they could succeed. There has been no shortage of trying in the last eight years.
