'Democracy' is Not the Total Weight of Government

If you hate individualism and love government, then you're a literal Fascist.

Remember all the Leftists who told us that "government is simply the name we give to the things we choose to do together," and "true socialism" is just "investing in firefighters, police, and teachers"?

Well, this year California has already had the worst battery-storage fire in American history and the worst wildfires in American history, so it's only fair that Oakland's budget deficit could eradicate up to 30% of its firefighting capacity while Martinez experiences a refinery fire that prompts a "shelter in place" warning.

Contra Costa County Health Department: "Please go inside, close all windows and doors, turn off all heaters, air conditioners and fans. If not using the fireplace, close fireplace dampers and vents, and cover cracks around doors and windows with tape or damp towels."

In light of this, it is useful to remember two things: 1) the founder of National Socialism once declared that "if classical liberalism spells individualism, Fascism spells government," and 2) like Mussolini (and Stalin), modern Leftists hate individualism and love government more than anything else.

Leftists argue that Trump is destroying "our democracy," but 1) "democracy" is not the total weight of government, and 2) what Trump is really destroying is the commie-pinko-fascist falsehood that big government equals freedom.

Leftists are well on their way to destroying California by defunding police, defunding firefighters, and — when they're not funding homelessness — pumping trillions of gallons of fresh water out to sea. In short, they are trading the American Dream for a Utopian Dreamer vision that promises the worst aspects of communism and fascism: radical collectivism, failing farms, high-density housing, and the political command of private corporate power.

And finally, even with absolute proof of their destructive incompetence, Leftists tell us 1) all their ideas are better, and 2) if we don't comply, they will compel us to be free.

The fate of the Golden State hangs in the balance. After seeing the catastrophic result of Leftist policies, we can either wait and see what they do next or we can Make California Great Again.
